Melissa Magyar, RN, specializes in non-surgical facial aesthetic injections and treatments. She considers herself an artist and skincare humanitarian, helping restore youth and health back to aging and damaged complexions. Melissa has been working as a nurse in aesthetic medicine since February 2008.
As a nurse and certified specialist, under the medical directorship of Dr. Christopher Balgobin, Melissa provides aesthetic consultations and medical injections including Botox for wrinkles and dermal fillers for volume replacement and enhancement. She's injected hundreds of patients with Botox, Radiesse, Juvederm (Ultra, Plus and Voluma), Restylane, Perlane and Belotero over the past 8+ years. She also provides chemical peels and microneedling with MicroPen to help improve overall skin quality and clarity.
Melissa graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2003. She worked as a marketing assistant for a prestigious dance theater in London, England, followed by a small publishing company in the twin cities until a visit to a dermatologist for her own skin inspired her to go back to school for nursing. She completed the Licensed Practical Nursing Program in December 2007, and obtained an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing in December 2012.
